Dear Friends in Junior League of Lafayette:

I am a member of the Board of Directors for the Shining Light Foundation and will serve as their representative to authorize the attached request for funds. The members of the Board of Directors agree unanimously to this request and agree to implement the project if funded.

Our Board of Directors meets monthly or more frequently, as needed. Our Applications Committee receives requests submitted by teachers, counselors, and principals. The Applications Committee previews all requests and presents the applications to the Board of Directors. Our entire Board of Directors votes on whether or not to approve each request.
