On motion from Perry, seconded by Cynthia, the minutes of meeting held 2/15/2023 were approved.

New Business

1)     Per Cynthia, the current Superintendent is stepping down and is now a principal in Erath.  They will be appointing an interim Superintendent.

2)     Cynthia will contact Tanya the Student Services Coordinator about sharing the Shining Light Brochure and information with the Counselors, Teachers and Principals.  Last year the contacts were made through email.

3)     Our guests Mary Speyrer and Marietta LaBauve are interested in serving as Board Members of the Shining Light Foundation.   Carolyn will send email to the board for review.

4)     Envelopes for Shining Light were ordered for $65.00.

Old Business

1)     We signed up for SOLA giving day for a fee of $100.00.  Waiting to see if we received any donations.

Meeting adjourned at 6.50 pm.  Next meeting date will be held on August 9, 2022, at Live Oak Wealth Advisors, 1042 Camelia Blvd., Suite 11, Lafayette, LA.  Refreshments at 5:30 pm.
