MINUTES of MEETING HELD: Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 6:00 pm

On motion from Perry, seconded by Mike, the minutes of the meeting held Tuesday, September 14, 2021 were approved. 

Treasurer’s Report

Balance:  $11,558.78

Scholarships: $3,550.00; Expenses: $329.33; Donations: $798.22; Interest: $1.56; Escrow: $375.00;  Invested: $83,388.49.   

New Business

1) Cynthia Dauphin has coordinated a photo-op for the Shining Light Board members with Lafayette Parish School Superintendent Irma Trosclair, Jennifer Gardner and Mary Morrison at the LPSS Central office on Friday October 8 at 12:15 p.m.    Our plan is to include this a publicity in the next Shining Light Newsletter and in the SLF Facebook page.

2) On Tuesday, December 14, 2021 the SLF board members will gather for a Christmas party sponsored by Live Oak Wealth advisors at their office on Camelia Blvd.

Applications none were received.
