Report

Executive
Director’s Report
Joseph
submitted Proposed Budget for 2017-2018. There were two suggested
formats: Proposed Budget “A” and Proposed Budget “B”
On
motion of Troy, seconded by Mike, Proposed Budge form “A”
is approved.
Old
Business
John
reported that the 5 students that we sponsored at Myrtle Place
Elementary by funding their application fees did make the trip to
Martinique in June with the other students.
John again
renewed his request that we should consider having some kind of
get-together for the musicians who gave their time and talents at the
Bash. Misty stressed if we plan something, it should not be on a week
end. John will look into a possible place and date for such an
event.
We received thank you notes from Keenan and Payton
Price and their mother for funding their summer school classes.
New
Business
No
applications.
Cynthia and Lana attended the Counselors’
meeting on August 4 and were well-received.
On motion of
Cynthia, seconded by John, proposal to include participants in grades
K-8 for scholarships in choir or chorus, and to be funded under
special projects, approved.
A framed poster of our 2017
Poster was presented to Misty to give to her husband for his
help.
