On motion of Sandra, seconded by Troy, Minutes of Meeting held on Monday, May 4, 2016 approved.

 

Treasurer’s Report
Present balance: $46,703.09
Checks received today: Sandra Wilcox $90.00; Carol Wong $150.00; Donald and Patricia Johnson $250.00

 

On motion of John, seconded by Joe, at this time it is our recommendation that we not put donated money at risk in the stock market, but we will gratefully accept donations of stock or mutual funds to our treasury.

Requests from Westside Elementary School for 3 students for field trip on April 26 to Zoosiana at $13.00 each and for field trip on April 27 to the Grand Theater at $13.00 each:

Income $5,578.00 in tickets and donations; t-shirt sales and 50/50 raffle
Some income still coming in because of matching funds and donations

 

In other words, THE BASH WAS A SMASH HIT!, mainly because of our own JOHN BROUSSARD and we sincerely thank him for all of his efforts.. 

 

John suggested that we plan an event to honor the bands who donated their time and talents. 
Mike will look into what and where we could host such an event.

 

On motion of Troy, seconded by John, to remove Barbara Moore from the Advisory Board approved.
