Our guest, Jean Rosenfeld, was welcomed. She brought with her the book she has written and assembled “Signatures +” about Zydeco music and bands.

It was agreed that we deposit $20,000.00 in the Franklin
Fund in order to earn more dividends.

On motion of John, seconded by Bruce, requests approved.
Request from Paul Breaux Middle School for gifted student for field trip to Chicago for May 2nd to 7th for Helena Gleason-Pritts in amount of $900.00. It was agreed that Cheryl will contact the teacher for more information and a vote will be taken by e-mail after that information is sent to the Board by Carolyn.
Brochures: Troy will try to get the brochures redone.
School Board Meeting: Carolyn and Mike attended the meeting and announced about the Bash. They told the Board we had contributed $60,000 to 1369 students.

will appear on Channel 10 on March 16, not Bruce.
Face book: Sandra announced 208 invited; 56 maybe; 21 yes.
