Old Business
Continuing our effort to track students to graduation, and particularly band students, who receive awards to find out their progress, Cynthia Dauphin went to the School Board and met with Beverly Breaux who told her of the difficulties in trying to track these students.  John suggested that we perhaps consider some sort of public announcement on radio asking students who may have received awards from Shining Light what the impact has been on their life.  Debbey will give this some thought and report later.

Bruce pointed out the changes to our By-Laws as follows:

 3.1 Pre-kindergarten through grade 8
6.1 Change maximu number of Board members to 20
6.3 Add Vice President to slate of officers
 7.2 Add e-mail
7.3 proxy vote by telephone or e-mail
 9.2 Establishes Advisory Board

All changes were approved.

Cynthia Comeaux and Cookie Tuminello spoke to the group about Kno-mii contact system.

Meeting adjourned at 7:30 pm.

Next meeting will be Monday, December 14, 2015 at 5:30 pm at Carolyn and Mike’s home at 203 Waterside.
