On 3/31/2015 we received an additional check for Shelby Williams for $100.00 from Janice Roane.

Zydeco/Cajun Bash- Posters were distributed to the board members.   Perry - Red's, and Perry's work; Kerry - Breaux's Mart, Cafe Des Ami, Randols.   Cheryl - Albertson's, Helos.  Sandra - will create a Facebook Event.  Cynthia - Hebert's, KPEL, Mellow Mushroom.  John - Feed & Seed, Vermilionville, Radio Station, Maxwells.  Shauna - Prejeans, 4 elementary schools, Eventful App, and KATC calendar.   Carolyn will send letters to principals who have sent in applications.  Hayley was to contact the Times, and The Independent.     Rachel Taylor (Curley's wife) will help serve food.  Lana's friend Diane Dejean will also help.  Bruce has printed additional brochures for the event and business cards.   Bruce will check on the cost of purchasing the key chain lights.   John will approach St. Martin Bank as a sponsor for the event.    Carolyn has ordered an additional 25 T-Shirts.   Food for 300 attendees will be ordered.  

We received an invitation from Junior League of Lafayette to attend grants application process seminar on Monday, April 6 from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.   Shauna will tentatively attend.

Cynthia reported that on Monday, May 18 the restaurant Mellow Mushroom will donate10% of the proceeds from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. to The Shining Light Foundation.   We need to mention this event at the Zydeco/Cajun Bash.
