The date of the Shining Light Foundation Zydeco Cajun Blast is scheduled for April 21, 2015 at Vermillionville.  Mike Huber will get written confirmation.  It is the Tuesday before Festival International so most of the bands should be in town.

 

John Broussard has spoken to several of the bands (Chubby Carrier, Lil Buck Senegal, Roddie Romero, Wayne Singleton, Corey Ledet).   Last year we had 13 bands playing 3 selections each.   They are requesting to play 5 selections each. 

 

Artwork for the Event and T-Shirts:   John spoke with the high school art department.  The art teacher requested criteria, she would then have to send to the home office for approval.  The individual winner would not be able to receive proceeds; it would have to go to the school.   John suggested we scrap the idea and come up with our own poster.

 

Carolyn created a draft for the 2015.   Heather indicates she knows a graphic designer who can possibly create some sample designs.    The color of the T-shirt was discussed.  On motion of Perry and Bruce seconded, the color will be a Forrest Green.

 

Carolyn informed the group that Buddy Van Wick did not need the bells.
