Our Zydeco/Cajun Bash scheduled for Wednesday,
April 16:
Hayley advised that the UPS Store on James Comeaux Road
printed the flyers for us. She gave them 2 tickets to the
Bash. She will send them a Sponsor Letter with our thanks.
All members took flyers to be posted at numerous businesses in Lafayette and surrounding areas.
It was decided that children under 12 years of age will be admitted free with parent but must buy a meal ticket for $5.00 if they wish to eat.
Tony will bring a roll of theater type tickets to be handed out at the door to adult Bash ticketholders which will be surrendered at the food table in order to eliminate repeat refills of food plates.
It was decided not to print sponsors’ names on the backs of the t-shirts.
Jude
will get door prizes.
Bash ticketholders may deposit a business
card or a surrogate business card which Bruce will prepare on plain
white paper in a box for a chance to win a door prize.
Cynthia
volunteered to make a box for the drawings.
Jude advised that Sophia Berard will cover the event at Vermilionville for “The Vermillion”.
Meeting adjourned at 7:30 pm.
Next meeting will be held Monday, April 7, 2014 at 6:00 pm at the UBS Office.
