James Balkenhol appointed to the Advisory Board
James
will be in charge of acquisition, inventory maintenance, control and
storage of musical instruments that we purchase. James will
head the committee and Bruce Snow will serve on the committee.
Dr. Ron Hardey will self-insure Shining Light in the event an instrument is lost, making a donation to Shining Light to replace it.
James and the Committee will get price lists and three bids on instruments to be purchased: Gitz Music, Prof Erny, and Lafayette Music.
John discussed having a fund raiser with various bands donating their time and performances.
Carolyn, Cynthia and Bruce will go to the Bearver Club luncheon on Wednesday, August 14, to explain to them about our mission.

Next meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 5:30 pm at the UBS Office.
