On motion of Cynthia, seconded by Bruce, Minutes of Meeting held August 2, 2010 approved.
Treasurer’s
Report:
Present balance: $25,121.49
We still have not
received a bill from Prof Erny’s but David is working on it.
New
Business:
Application forms have been updated by Michelle and
are posted on our website.
There is also an updated price list
from Prof Erny’s on the website, and the prices reflect the
inclusion of instruction book and necessary accessories.
Michelle
will deliver the Certificate of Recognition to Larry Erny.
Carolyn, Cynthia, Hayley, and Michelle attended meetings of counselors on Thursday, August 26, and reported they were well received. Michelle will print our logo on some card stock so that thank you cards may be sent.
The
meeting of Principals will be August 31 and Carolyn, Cynthia and
Bruce will attend.
There will be a meeting of teachers September
30 and Cynthia expects to attend.
Discussion was held regarding the possibility of a project to aid the 16 and 17 year olds at the W. D. Smith Career Center, and while special projects are not totally ruled out, it was agreed that this is beyond our mission as set out in the by-laws.
Meeting adjourned at 6:50 pm.
Next meeting will be held Monday, September 13, 2010 at the UBS Office, 1021 E. St. Mary.
