The beautiful newsletter is ready to be mailed, 150
copies having been furnished by Copy & Camera. Michelle
volunteered to send to Councilmen, City-Parish Board Members, mayors
from outlying towns in the Parish, State and Federal
Representatives. Cynthia will mail to donors.

Business
We welcome Hayley back. Hayley will get
information regarding a BNSF Grant to determine if our Foundation
might qualify.

Applications
At the January meeting, there were 2 applications
from J. W. Faulk Elementary School for field trips scheduled for
12-11-09. When the school was contacted by John, he was told to
disregard the applications.

condition that students actually took the trip and if the teacher
paid for the trip personally, the teacher be reimbursed.

Please note that it was originally thought that only 1
child’s parent would contribute $10 but in a review of the
Applications it was discovered that 2 parents will contribute.
Also, in that review it was discovered that there were 16
applications, not 17, as 1 child’s application, that of Mary
Newman, was duplicated.
