On
motion of Bruce, seconded by Julie, Minutes of Meeting held December
7, 2009 approved.
It was noted that regarding the requests from
Woodvale Elementary for 2 students to go to Moody Gardens, the bus
and admission adds up to $45.00, however the applications requested
only $35.00 each and $35.00 each were the amounts awarded.
Treasurers
Report:

received in tips from gift wrapping at Barnes & Noble;
Received
check from Junior League of Lafayette for $1,000 together with Letter
Agreement which Carolyn has signed and returned to them. First
Report due March 2010.

We have been
notified by United Way that we will receive $1,020 in quarterly
payments, less
certain charges.

Julie is finishing up the Newsletter.

Carolyn has composed a Letter Agreement and will send
one to each principal of the schools where students have already
received awards this school year simply stating they will apply the
funds we send for the purposes approved.

On motion of John, seconded by Bruce, all above requests granted.
There were 2 requests from J. W. Faulk for field trips taken 12-11-09, but the applications had not signature by the principal and no amount specified. John will contact the counselor to get some clarity on these applications.
