Special
meeting called for the purpose of considering requests for musical instruments
recently received by John. Further, meeting for the purpose of compiling
documents required for submitting applications for grants to Shining Light
Foundation from Super 1 Foods and from Junior League of Lafayette
The
following donations were received today and will be deposited in our account on
Monday:
Janice and George Roane in honor of Patrick Roane $30.00;
Wal-Mart Foundation $1,000.

On
motion of Mike, seconded by John, requests approved on condition that Michelle
will contact Prof Erny’s to find out if the elementary schools use tubas in
their bands.
Discussion
was held regarding the requirement by the IRS for non-profit organizations to
file a Form 990-N. Michelle will ask Bruce if we filed such a form.
Michelle
will add a request on all application forms for the teacher’s e-mail address.
