Minutes
of Meeting held April 6, 2009 amended to reflect that the Application from J.
W. Faulk for Justacia Thomas for trip to Johnson Space Center was for a total
of $32.00 not $42.00.
On motion of Bruce, seconded by Julie, Minutes of Meeting held April 6, 2009 as
amended approved.
Treasurer’s
Report:
Balance: $24,171.56
James
Cork advised the bill from Prof Erny was correct as to Plantation
Elementary. Emails send to VanWyck were not answered. Bruce advised
that 2 of the names approved for trombones did not pick up their instruments,
making the total bill from Prof Erny $4,108.10.
On motion of Julie, seconded by Mike, Prof Erny’s bill will be paid in the
amount of $4,108.10.
A
CD in the amount of $10,000 for 2 years and one in amount of $5,000 for 1 year
has been purchased from Shining Light account.

Business
This year’s business will appear on our website. For previous years, go
to the archives.

Business
Cynthia has applied for Sam’s and Wal-Mart grants. She will also contact
Winn Dixie to inquire about Community Pals Grant.

field trip to Johnson Space Center in Houston at a cost of $32.00 per student
were approved by telephone on April 21, 2009:
