MINUTES OF MEETING HELD: Monday, December 3, 2007 at 5:30 pm

On motion of Julie, seconded by Bruce, Minutes of Meetings held October 1, 2007 and November 5, 2007, approved.

Treasurer’s Report
Present balance: $14,867.18
Donation received today from Janice and George Roane II in honor of their grandson Ripley “Patrick” Roane in the amount of $25.00.

Old Business
Discussion was held regarding the email dated November 26, 2007 to Michelle, Carolyn, Mike, and John pertaining to the bill received from Prof Erny’s.  There is a discrepancy in the amounts that Prof Erny’s has billed for accessories and the amounts approved by the Board.  On motion of Mike, seconded by Bruce, the bill will be held in abeyance until the issue of costs of accessories is resolved.  We will wait for a report from Michelle regarding this problem.

On motion of Michelle, seconded by John, request to pay for accessories in the amount of $24.25 for Kyle Nelson, who attends Prairie Elementary School, approved.

New Business
Tony Moore has advised that because of extensive travel required by his job he will no longer be able to serve as Treasurer.  However, Tony will gladly serve on the Advisory Board.

Applications:
Request from J. W. Faulk Elementary School for Jennifer Hurst for field trip to movie:
Movie ticket and popcorn $7 and bus fee $3.00, total $10.00
Requests from Duson Elementary School:
 Gabriel Primeaux, field trip to see If You Give A Mouse A Cookie play $10;
 DonTravian Brown, field trip to If You Give A Mouse A Cookie $10 and
  Slim Goodbody $10, total $20.00
 Danny Bourque, field trip to If You Give A Mouse A Cookie $10 and
  Slim Goodbody $10, total $20.00

Meeting adjourned at 6:30 pm.
Next meeting scheduled for Monday, January 14, 2008, however subsequently rescheduled for Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 5:30 pm at the Smith Barney Office.
