No Minutes of the general meeting held January 8, 2007 were
available.
Old Business
Bruce has created new font and updated the website logo. The picture and information on the
Citigroup $3,750.00 grant has been added.
New Business
Prior
application for Lashell Alexander is confirmed for $93.95.
Prof Erny
invoice for $2,647.13 is to be paid.
Bruce will meet with Prof Erny to verify who did not pick up a musical
instrument, and request monthly invoices.
Requests from:
J. Wallace James for Dylan White.
Field trip & bus fee $10.00.
On motion of Michelle, seconded by Bruce, it was approved.
Ernest Gallet for Lazaro Sarduy. A
trombone, book, and accessory kit.
Maria Miranda (mother) had already contracted with Prof Erny. On motion from Hayley, seconded by
Bruce, it was approved. Michelle
will clarify amount with Prof Erny as the application had higher amounts than
the Shining Light quote.
Estimated SL portion is $132.14.
We received
several scholarship feedback forms.
Reception for
Counselors and Band Directors – Carolyn to inquire about River Oaks donating
the use of a small room “Camelia” or “Tuscany Oak” for approximately 100
people; Cash Bar; some finger foods.
The reception will be for one hour.
Carolyn will
research who is now responsible for the Gannett Grant so that we may apply for
this year.
