Bruce reported there is no
news regarding our website.
Regarding scholarships for
musical instruments, Lou Montgomery reported that there are 6 students at J.
Wallace James School leasing instruments from Prof Ernie’s Music Store, the
parents of 4 of whom have already met with Prof Ernie and have their
instruments: Herman Lewis, trombone; Deidrick Lawrence, trumpet; Jasmine
Lawrence, flute; and Daysha George, clarinet.
Total share of cost to Shining Light for these instruments is $480. Two students who are approved for
scholarships but who have not as of this date received their instruments are:
Janise Joseph, violin; and Latonna George, violin. Share of costs for these 2 students will be $135.
